Strategic communication professionals are employed in the private sector, the public sector and the non-profit sector.
Strategic communication professionals pursue careers in all spheres – the private, the public sector, and the nonprofit sector. The degree offers necessary conceptual skills for managerial careers in areas such as organizational communication, public relations, marketing and brand communication, and related posts in a variety of contexts. Depending on the subject of your Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication can open up other career opportunities than the ones mentioned here.
The programme also prepares for Ph.D. studies and continued academic career.

The Faculty of Social Sciences offers a career portal for you as a a student in social science. In the portal, you will find career support in the form of tips, exercises, and videos that give you a better understanding of how your education can be translated into reality, how you can write your skills for an employer, and give you tools to find a job that you really enjoy.

Alumni survey
A recent survey distributed to graduates of our MSc programme in Strategic Communication shows that 95% are employed within a year. Our alumni work as communicators, strategic communicators, managers, consultants or specialists with a variety of tasks such as digital media management, internal communication, content and copywriting, media relations, marketing and analysis of trends, business environment, digital media and policy.
